Working hard for those things we don’t care about is called stress, but working hard for the things we love is called passion. Even when we have passion, how much should we give?
In this workshop we will look at what it means to develop the right effort both on and off the mat. We will use some of the classical texts as resources for our investigation, including the Yoga Sutras, Yoga Yajnavalkya and Hatha Yoga Pradipika. These ancient texts shed a tremendous amount of insight into how to develop a sustainable practice that we can maintain for the rest of our lives. The workshop is all levels and will include lecture, chant and practice.
