Document Shredding & Electronics Recycling Event to Benefit Cancer Research

A Document Shredding and Electronics Recycling Drop Off event will be held to benefit the American Institute for Cancer Research on Saturday May 31st and Sunday June 1st from 9am-2pm at the District Office of San Dieguito Union High Schools located at 710 Encinitas Blvd, Encinitas, California 92024.

Proshred Security has teamed up with the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) to create the 1st Annual Shred for Cancer Nationwide Shredding Event! In celebration of National Cancer Survivors Day weekend, Saturday May 31st and Sunday June 1s t, Proshred Security San Diego will have on-site shredding trucks parked at the District Office of the San Dieguito Union High Schools located at 710 Encinitas Blvd, Encinitas, California 92024 from 9am-2pm.

At the event, PROSHRED employees will be collecting donations from customers coming to shred their paper materials and computer hard drives. Proshred will be donating their portion of the proceeds from this event to the AICR to support cancer research. There is a $5 donation per file box for paper shredding and $10 donation for hard drive destruction. Documents will be shredded and Computer Hard Drives will be punched and destroyed on-site at this event while you watch.  Don't become one of the 11 million people affected by Identity Theft each year with approximately 75% resulting from documents getting into the wrong hands.

I Love A Green California will be hosting the electronics recycling drop off. The Electronics Recycling drop off is FREE to everyone (donations are welcome). Anything that plugs in or runs on batteries is accepted (sorry no large appliances, light bulbs, alkaline batteries, or smoke detectors).
