Encinitas Little League Set to Start Spring Sign-ups
Online registration begins Saturday and runs through Dec. 19, with four in-person dates planned.
Registration will begin Saturday for Encinitas Little League's spring 2012 season, the 55th year of baseball for the league. ELL started on one field near Moonlight Beach in 1957 and moved to Saxony Road in 1959, where it has played ever sincce.
Registration is open to boys and girls ages 5-12 as of April 30, 2012 who are interested in playing baseball and having a great time. Players should reside within the ELL boundaries, which are from Manchester Avenue on the south, the ocean on the west, Palomar Airport Road to the north and El Camino Real on the east.
Online registration opens Saturday (Oct. 15) at www.ellbaseball.org and will close on Dec. 19. There will be four in-person registrations at the ELL snack bar on the north side of the baseball fields at the Ecke YMCA, 200 Saxony Drive, Encinitas, on the dates and times below:
