Encinitas State Of The City Scheduled April 9

ENCINITAS, CA — The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the city of Encinitas, will host its annual State of the City address April 9 at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center.

The event will feature Mayor Bruce Ehlers delivering remarks on the city's progress, priorities and plans for the coming year.

Attendees will also hear updates from the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, Visit Encinitas and the 101 Mainstreet Associations representing downtown Encinitas, Leucadia and Cardiff, organizers said. The evening will also include a networking reception and tastings from local restaurants.

More than 250 people, including elected officials and community leaders, typically attend the annual event, which regularly sells out according to organizers.

The event is scheduled from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center, located at 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive.

Tickets are available online and cost $75 for general admission and $65 for chamber members.
