The English Language Institute offers international students the opportunity to increase their English language proficiency and develop the skills needed for success in a college or university in the United States. This intensive English as a second language program provides individualized instruction in small classes. Dedicated professional faculty and state-of-the-art computer software assist students in improving their reading, writing, listening, speaking and study skills. Topics covered will also include TOEFL preparation and the study of U.S. culture.
MiraCosta College is now accepting applications for the spring and summer 2016 sessions. Program dates are 1/25–3/18, 3/28–5/20 or 6/6–7/29. Students attend class 20 hours per week. I-20s and home-stay options are available.
