Surf icon Rob Machado comes to Encinitas boutique Bliss 101 on May 5th from 6 to 9 p.m. for the launch of his photography, including images from Machado's worldwide travels as well as his life in Encinitas and Cardiff. Bliss 101, an art and furniture gallery as well as a shop for gifts and home decor, will be the first to offer Machado's photography for sale to the public. A percentage of proceeds from the sale of Machado’s work will benefit the Rob Machado Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on helping children understand their contribution towards a healthy earth. Machado will be present at the event to mingle with guests and personally autograph t-shirts and prints. The evening will also include live music, food, drinks and face painters for kids.
