Pregnancy Fitness Class

$10/person per class.  This drop in class is for women in all three trimesters of pregnancy, the intensity level of each class session will be moderate and includes pelvis stability work, cardio and body weight exercises, balance and stretching.

 

“Women who exercise through pregnancy have a reduced complications, an improved sense of well being, shorter labor and a speedier recovery after delivery,” explains the Greenasium’s Jacquie Forester. “On average an active pregnant woman gains around 8 pounds less than a sedentary one.

The prenatal exercise program at the Greenasium includes a brochure of local resources such as prenatal massage therapists, specialized nutritionists, midwives and photographers who specialize in baby bump portraits.”
