Solo Nature Photography Exhibit

The Civic Center Gallery at Encinitas City Hall is hosting a solo nature photography exhibit by Mark A. Drawbridge.

Drawbridge is an award winning, Encinitas-based photographer who enjoys being out in nature and capturing the beauty and intrigue of its wildlife through digital photography. His full-time profession is in marine biology.

All of his photographs at this exhibit were taken in North County San Diego, and they are all of authenticated wildlife, which excludes captive animals. While the subject matter may be common, the images are not. The artist strives to make the images unique and powerful by capturing an unusual perspective, dramatic lighting, striking colors, and/or fascinating animal behavior.

His work will be on display at Civic Center Gallery hours through July 16. There will be an opening reception on June 5 from 5-7 p.m.

City Hall is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. but is closed alternate Fridays
