Fundraising Benefit for the Shantipuri Friends Foundation who supports two charitable organizations that are working to benefit underprivileged children in India. These organizations offer education, school supplies, food, clothing, medical care, and a home for children who have been orphaned or have no other means of support.
For more than 20 years, Swami Nirvanananda has dedicated himself to expanding the work begun by Father Marian Zelazek in Puri, on the Bay of Bengal in eastern India. Swamiji travels the world extensively carrying only his guitar and some CDs, to raise money to help needy children in and around Puri.
