ENCINITAS, CA – Former NFL player Kellen Winslow II, son of Chargers Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow, was arrested Thursday in connection with a residential burglary in Encinitas.

Deputies responded to a report of a possible burglary around 2:40 p.m. at Park Encinitas Mobile Home Park on El Camino Real. The person who reported the incident confronted the man – later identified as Winslow – because he did not recognize him, according to Lt. After being confronted, Winslow left the scene in a black SUV and deputies spotted him a short distance from the mobile home park, she said. Winslow, 34, was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary and booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
