Garlic Girl is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet This Week

She's a little Husky.

Garlic Girl is a 1-year-old, 40-pound, female, Shepherd / Husky mix.
She was picked up as a stray in Riverside County, then taken to a crowded shelter. When nobody claimed her, she was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through FOCAS – Friends of County Animal Shelters.
She’s a fun-loving girl. Garlic Girl’s energy level is a little above average. Her new family will need to make sure she gets a combination of physical and mental exercise to keep her happy. She would be a good running or hiking partner.
The $145 adoption fee for Garlic Girl includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society.
For more information visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas, call 760-753-6413, or log on to www.SDpets.org.
The shelter is open from 11 AM to 4 PM every day but Tuesday.

Special note.

There’s always a need for dedicated Foster Care Volunteers at Rancho Coastal Humane Society…particularly during the spring and summer. And the Teen Foster Program gives teenagers 15 and older an opportunity to work hands-on with homeless animals while they earn service hours.
The average length of stay in foster care is 4 to 6 weeks. Training is required. For more information visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas, or log on to https://rchumanesociety.org/fo...
