Gus is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 4-year-old, 13-pound, male, Domestic Short Hair cat with a Black and White coat.
Gus was surrendered to Rancho Coastal Humane Society when his owner could no longer care for him. He was adopted right away, then returned a month later. His adopter said that Gus has a “rough and tumble” play style. The resident cat didn’t understand that Gus was playing. So, Gus was returned.
Gus has lived with another cat and also a dog. They all played together.

He likes his scratching post, and his favorite toy is a cat wand with a feather on the end. He’s ready to play whenever you are, day or night.
The $100 adoption fee for Gus includes medical exam neuter, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip. For information about adoption or to become a Virtual Foster visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, call 760-753-6413, or log on to www.SDpets.org.
