Humane Society Hosts Fashion Show With Designer Zandra Rhodes

RANCHO SANTA FE, CA – The Rancho Coastal Humane Society will hold a fashion show and luncheon Tuesday, featuring staff and animals wearing clothes designed by Zandra Rhodes.

The event will serve as a fundraiser for the organization. According to RCHS spokesman John Van Zante, the show will be the first time some co- workers see each other in anything other than the organization's T-shirts or volunteer aprons. Rhodes is expected to attend the event.

"Some of our Rancho Coastal Humane Society supporters got to meet Zandra a few months ago when she was a guest at our Celebration of Second Chances," Van Zante said. "Zandra learned about all the work we're doing to help pets and people. Shortly after that she offered to hold the fashion show luncheon."

The Wiggles and Waggles fashion show will begin at 11 a.m. at the Del Mar Country Club, located at 6001 Country Club Drive in Rancho Santa Fe. The event is expected to sell out, but residents can buy tickets for $125 at rchumanesociety.org/zandra-rhodes.
