Lazy Acres Natural Market Hiring for Encinitas Store

ENCINITAS, CA — Lazy Acres Natural Market is now hiring for its new store in Encinitas, which is set to open this October in the former Petco and Smart & Final spaces in the shopping center at 150 Encinitas Blvd., on the northwest side of Interstate 5.

Lazy Acres is described in a company statement as a "unique cornerstone of the California coastal wellness vibe." The first one opened in 1991 in Santa Barbara, where its involvement in the community and very loyal following has made it a fixture. Encinitas is the third Lazy Acres location, following the 2012 opening of a Long Beach store.

“Lazy Acres is a great place to work,” said Steve Dominguez, store manager. “We are known for our helpful staff, who are passionate about food and who love sharing their passion with the community.”

The Encinitas store opening will bring opportunities for local farmers and local vendors, as well as around 140 jobs for individuals "looking to provide outstanding, individualized customer service in an environment focused on health and wellness and on the highest quality natural and organic food," company officials say.
