Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Vehicle Theft In North County
CHP officers stopped the stolen semi-truck at Interstate 5 at state Route 56, authorities said.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A man was arrested Valentine's Day in San Diego's North County in connection with a stolen semi-truck from Los Angeles, authorities announced Thursday.
The Los Angeles Police Department notified the California Highway Patrol that a semi-truck was stolen at about 7 a.m. Monday.
CHP officers from the Oceanside area office found the stolen vehicle later that day while patrolling southbound Interstate 5 near Via de La Valle. The officers made a traffic enforcement stop at 5:25 p.m. at state Route 56.

Clarence Taylor, 60, of Los Angeles, was arrested and booked into San Diego County Jail on suspicion of vehicle theft.
"He is facing felony charges related to this incident, including the unlawful theft and taking of a motor vehicle," CHP officer Hunter Gerber said.
