In December, MASON MORASH, a 2nd Grader at La Costa Heights Elementary, was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. This is a disease in which the bone marrow is damaged causing a deficiency of all three blood cell types. For Mason and many others, the only hope for a cure is a bone marrow transplant.
