MiraCosta College Celebrates Chinese New Year: Year of the Sheep

Each New Year is represented by one of the 12 creatures of the Chinese zodiac. This will be the Year of the Sheep, which the Chinese associate with as one of the most auspicious animals in the Chinese zodiac calendar and is also considered lucky.

In its 8th year of celebration, MiraCosta College will observe the Chinese New Year of the Sheep all month long with free events and activities in February.

MiraCosta College-sponsored events are free and take place at the Oceanside Campus located at 1 Barnard Drive, unless otherwise noted. Students, staff, faculty, alumni and members of the public are invited to attend all events.
