MiraCosta College Offers Catalina Island Escape Excursion

MiraCosta College is your host on a smooth boat ride from Newport Beach that takes just over an hour. Once you arrive at 10:15 a.m., you can experience a full array of adventures where you can go from azure coves and warm golden beaches to mist-drenched mountaintops in minutes. Catalina is a natural playground. Get out on the water, take a scenic tour, or pedal a bicycle for two. Visit a spa, enjoy lunch on your own and stroll along Avalon’s palm-lined streets.

The date for the trip is March 12. Fee for the excursion is $115, which includes transportation. Bus departs at 7 a.m. from the MiraCosta College Technology Career Institute, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, and returns at 7 p.m.
