MiraCosta College Theatre Presents 'SEVEN'
"The seven women at the center of this play have each made significant change in their home countries and as a result, in the world."

MiraCosta College Theatre Department’s fall season kicks off with a production of SEVEN, an inspiring drama written by seven award-winning playwrights that tells the remarkable story of seven women from around the world whose courage caused them to become extraordinary leaders. The play opens October 2 at the MiraCosta College Theatre, located at 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside. Tracy Williams will direct.
SEVEN was written by Paula Cizmar, Catherine Filloux, Gail Kriegel, Carol K. Mack, Ruth Margraff, Anna Deavere Smith and Susan Yankowitz.
“SEVEN is a play that is full of hope for the future. The seven women at the center of this play have each made significant change in their home countries and as a result, in the world,” said Williams. “We are privileged to get to voice this play, consider these women’s lives and bring their stories to our audiences. They are true heroes and an inspiration to us all.”
The students comprising the cast and crew are Matt Abosamra, Andrea Bullar, Tim Cabal, Justin Carty, Travis Charron, Tyler Christensen, Donovan Dec, Kyle Dowdy, Zach Elliott, Sawyer Henderson, Rachael Hodge, Dickson Janda, Anthony Kascak, Reden Magtira, Anton Maroun, John McCoy, Bree Monaghan, Michael Montano, Shane Murphy, Carol Naegele, Courtney Nedelman, Emily Neifert, Thomas Neiman, Joe Prete, Ana Reyes, Geoff Rocha, Brianna Russavage, Griffin Satoda, Kelly Saunders, Emily Scibetta, Alex Smith, Lily Thaisz, Lila Wakili and Cassie Wolff.
SEVEN is scheduled for October 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. and October 3, 4, 10 and 11 at 2 p.m. General admission is $16; seniors/staff, $13; students, $11. A preview performance is scheduled for October 1 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the preview performance are $11 for all seats.
