Miracle Ear San Diego North is offering FREE hearing screenings all month long! Choose from their Encinitas, Oceanside, or Escondido locations and give them a call to set up your free screening appointment. Owners, and local hearing experts, John and Toni Merrill will educate you spotting the the signs of hearing loss, and next steps to take for different levels of hearing impairment.

Why: Early diagnosis of hearing loss or other hearing difficulties is critical for people of all ages. In children, untreated hearing loss can lead to academic, social, and a host of other problems. In adults, hearing loss is tied to social isolation, depression, and an overall reduced quality of life. Additionally, new research from Johns Hopkins University has found a strong link between hearing loss and risk of developing dementia. Hearing loss is treatable through methods that include hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive technologies—under the care of an audiologist.
