Newman is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 9 month old, 56 pound, Australian Cattle Dog / Siberian Husky mix.
Newman is one of the dogs who was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another shelter through the FOCAS program. They were all named after characters on the “Seinfeld” television series.
Unlike the Newman on the TV show, this Newman is one of the favorites in the kennels. Everybody loves him and he seems to love everybody he meets.

He’s still a puppy and his first instinct is to jump up for attention, but he only jumps up in the air to make sure you see him. He’s very polite and he doesn’t jump on people.
