Newport needs a new home.
Newport is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 1 year old, 11 pound, Chihuahua / Pomeranian mix. That makes him a Pom-Chi.
Newport was rescued from a large commercial breeding operation…also known as a puppy mill. He and the other dogs with him were evaluated then began their trek across the United States to Rancho Coastal Humane Society. The transfer took place through the FOCAS program.
Newport never had so much love in his life. Now he gets toys and treats and playtime every day.

He’s been spending time in a private foster home where he has been learning that it’s okay to trust people. Now he needs an understanding family that will help him as he continues to work through his shyness.
