Pair Sought in Theft of Credit Card From Encinitas

ENCINITAS, CA: San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station asked for the public's help Wednesday in identifying a man and woman who allegedly used a credit card that was stolen during a vehicle burglary in Encinitas.
Authorities say the car break-in happened overnight between March 27 and March 28 on Hana Court. A wallet, cash and a credit card were taken from an unlocked car parked on a private driveway.
The credit card was used the next day at a mobile phone store, a coffee shop, a restaurant and at the Amaya Drive Trolley Station in La Mesa, authorities said — estimating the total loss at more than $1,000.

Surveillance cameras at the trolley station captured images of the alleged suspects.
The first suspect was described as a 25- to 30‐year‐old white man. He stands about 6 feet tall, weighs about 180 pounds and has brown hair, a full beard and a mustache. He was wearing gray Dickies‐style pants, a dark sweatshirt and black-and-white sneakers.

The second suspect was described as a 20- to 30 year‐old woman. She is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds and has long brown hair. She was wearing a burgundy hoodie, a black jacket, black pants and black-and-white sneakers.
Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has other information in the case was asked to call the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station at 760-966‐3500 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580‐8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anonymous email and text messages can be submitted online at Sdcrimestoppers.org.
