Panchito is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s an 8-year-old, 94-pound, male, Shepherd-mix.
Panchito was a stray in Riverside County. He was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.
He doesn’t like being in a kennel. It makes him nervous, and he paces. It won’t take long, but he will need time to adjust to his new home after he’s adopted.

Special Note:
Never Mind the "Gobblins." What's your Pet "Gobbling?" Keep your pets (and trick or treaters) safe this Halloween.
* Trick or Treaters might not want to be greeted by a dog or cat. Find a safe place for your pet indoors.
* Frightened pets are more likely to “door dash.
* If you’re putting a costume on your pet, make sure it fits properly and does not restrict the pet's vision. DO NOT force your pet to wear a costume.
* Don’t take the dog trick-or-treating. If you insist, make sure Mom or Dad always holds the leash and that "Count Barkula" stays back from the door. Even if YOUR dog is okay, the dog inside might need to protect its home.
* No Candy. No Booze. And properly dispose of the wrappers safely.
* Halloween isn't any more dangerous for black cats than any other night. But it's still hard to see black cats in the dark. Keep them safe inside.
