Pip is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 3-year-old, 12-pound, male, Domestic Short Hair cat with a brown and white Tabby coat.
Pip was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society 2-1/2 years ago through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program. He was adopted and lived with his family that included men, women, and teenagers.
Pip was always cautious of his surroundings. When they got a puppy a year ago Pip was very fearful and he started to act out.

Pip needs a patient family and a quiet and calm environment. He is okay with other cats. He could live with kids 10 years of older, as long as they’re respectful of him.
The $100 adoption fee for Pip includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip. For information about adoption or to become a Virtual Foster visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, call 760-753-6413, or log on to www.SDpets.org.
