San Elijo Lagoon CONSERVANCY invites you to join in the start of Reviving Your Wetlands—the San Elijo Lagoon Restoration Project. City of Encinitas is hosting this event at the Encinitas Community & Senior Center.
Join the Open House
You will have the opportunity to hear Conservancy Executive Director and Principal Scientist Doug Gibson speak, view project displays highlighting the 4 phases of Reviving Your Wetlands, and meet with partners actively involved in the project. Presentation starts at 6:20 pm.

About Reviving Your Wetlands
The San Elijo Lagoon Restoration project is designed to be resilient with sea level rise in our changing climate. Reviving our wetlands means improving tidal circulation in the lagoon. Lands and waters will be enhanced for native plants and animals—including threatened and endangered species. Your access and education opportunities will expand as the reserve's Conservancy, County of San Diego Parks & Recreation & California Fish & Wildlife partners continue to protect sensitive natural resources.
