Rhoades School Students Host Several Charitable Holiday Initiatives
Students and families held toy and clothing drives and wrote letters to veterans to bring holiday cheer and benefit the community

Preschool, lower school, and middle school students from The Rhoades School in Encinitas recently held a variety of charitable holiday initiatives to give back to the community. Students held a toy drive and collected more than 200 toys to benefit Toys for Tots, collected a truck load of clothing items for Veterans Village of San Diego, and wrote letters to veterans for Operation Gratitude. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to their community, especially during the holiday season.
