San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy Hosts Seaside Unveiling of New Name in North County
Participants of all ages can enjoy beach games, sunset, and the uplifting vibes of a community drum circle. As you watch the completion of a giant sandcastle with imaginative nature scenes, the new name and logo will be revealed by 6:30 p.m. One by one, the San Diego Sand Castles sculptor will carve out the letters. Light refreshments available. The first 100 guests will receive limited-edition commemorative enamel pins, and even a special gift for pup. Family and dog-friendly event

San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy was founded in 1987 by volunteer community members who were concerned about the health of San Elijo Lagoon. In the last 30 years, the nonprofit land trust has grown to inspire conservation action across North County San Diego, and beyond. The new name reflects these growing impacts.
