Sir is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet This Week

Madame has gone home.

(RCHS - Mark Viguri)

Sir is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 7-month-old, 38-pound, male, Boxer-mix puppy.

He and his sister, Madame, were 3-months-old when they were found stray in the Imperial Valley. They were transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.

Madame was adopted right away. Sir was very shy. Now he’s ready to meet his new family.

Special note. November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month.

  • You know what you’re getting.
  • Training is usually easier.
  • Senior pets usually settle into their new homes more quickly.
  • You can match a senior with your activity level.

Adoption fees for senior dogs and cats (seven or more) are only $75 at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. With the “Seniors-For-Seniors” program, there’s no fee for a person 60 or older when they adopt a pet that is 7 years or older.
