No previous experience in video is required.  The cost starts at $300 for the one-week session for middle school students and goes to

$900 for the overnight high school program in San Diego.

Students who attend will learn about video production, planning

and executing a story, writing copy, speaking on camera and using equipment.  Students will experiment with the creation of a feature news story, a public service announcement, a commercial, a music video and a movie

trailer.  Students will serve in various production roles and will be

taught leadership skills and responsibility while learning to work together as

a team to complete a common goal.

Student Television Network (a 501C3 non-profit organization)

embraces the educational components of broadcast journalism, video production,

filmmaking and media convergence by networking students and teachers with

professionals in the industry.
