Surf Report & Forecast for August 1-2

Let's get water temp out of the way first. It's cooled down about 7-8 degrees from an upwelling. Water temps were inching past 70 but they are as of yesterday down to 64 and holding there. Hopefully within a few days we'll see high 60s to low 70s.

There's still stubborn spring-like NW wind sticking around. SW groundswell is mostly broken up lines in the knee to waist-high zone. 

Tide is incoming until 11:20 at 5.3 feet and is fully drained by 5:00 p.m. at 1.2 feet. Evening high tide is at 11:00 p.m. at 6.4 feet.

Sunset tonight is at 7:47 p.m. 

Conditions today are mostly clear with a light NW wind but shape is poor to fair. 

For tomorrow, the 2nd of August, sunrise will be at 6:03 a.m. and the same conditions will stick around: weak SW swell with moderate NW wind swell.
