Surf Report & Forecast for August 11-12

Inconsistent knee to waist high with south wind later.

Earlier this morning, there was not one single person out at Swami's, so that tells you something about today's surf conditions, which are looking mostly flat, with inconsistent 1-2 foot lappers gently rolling by on occasion.

Beach breaks north of Swami's are showing a little more life but those peaks are already crowded with summer-vacation groms.

Water temp has creeped back up to a comfortable 64. Dust off the spring suits again and stash away the 4 mil.

High tide this morning: 9:15 a.m. at 4.2 feet. Low tide: 2:15 p.m. at 2 feet. Second high tide: 8:20 p.m. at 6.2 feet.

Saturday is a full moon, so look for greater tidal fluctuations over the next handful of days.

Sunset: 7:39 p.m.

For tomorrow, Friday the 12th, look for long-period, weak and small SW pulses to stick around.
