Surf Report & Forecast for August 15-16

Knee to waist high with weak push.

Unlike the last few days, today there seems to be little push with the incoming tide, which peaks at 11:00 a.m. at 4.8 feet.

Conditions are mostly calm with infrequent short-lived lines popping up in the waist-high range, with a rare SW pulse that's chest-high on the takeoff.

South wind will be moderate today but strong enough to show some unorganized chop. Water temp is gone up to 67.

Low tide will be at 4:45 p.m. at 1.5 feet. Sunset tonight: 7:34 p.m.

By tomorrow, Tuesday the 16th, south energy should fade out, replaced by more direct westerly swell, although it won't have much energy. Dive visibility has been good the last few days at 12-15 feet. Dust off your mask.
