Surf Report & Forecast for August 25-26

Another small day...

If you want waist-high waves this morning, drive up to Trestles. Perhaps only there will show waves higher than 1-2 feet. And if you want sun this morning, drive east to El Camino Real.

On the coast, it's very overcast. Water temp is about 65-66. This morning's high tide of almost 4 feet drains fully by 1:00 p.m. at 2.4 feet. Evening high tide is at 7:00 p.m. at almost 6 feet (New Moon in a few days).

Most breaks are showing very weak SW groundswell and a mix of NW windswell, which will peak above 10 knots once again. There may be an evening glass off but with the very high tide, it could kill anything from breaking.

Sunset tonight: 7:23 p.m.

For tomorrow, Friday the 26th, NW windswell backs off a bit so shape will hopefully be better. There's a chance for more consistent waist-high waves so pray for good surf!
