Surf Report & Forecast for August 31-September 1

Surf building throughout the day.

Conditions are mostly calm now with 2-4 foot surf. A new SW swell is building. There's a touch of NW wind and also some NW ground swell mixed in.

Most breaks are showing sectiony peaks with rare lines connecting all the way in.

Swell is supposed to build slowly throughout the day.

Winds will stay moderately onshore.

High tide peaks at 11:00 a.m. at 5.9 feet. Low tide is at 5:30 p.m. at 0.4 feet.

Water temps are in the high 60s.

Sunset tonight: 7:15 p.m.

Plenty of waves out there. If you're surfing later in the day, be cautious of rogue overhead bombs popping up out of nowhere.

For tomorrow, Thursday the 1st, expect overhead sets but lots of waiting in between, as a 22-second period south fully materializes.
