The incoming tidal push will hopefully make morning sessions worth going out in the 60-degree water. Tide's just about ready to turn around and will reach high at 1:20 p.m. at 5.3 feet.
Low tide is at 8:00 p.m. at 1.2 feet.
On this overcast morning, we're already seeing some NW wind (When will we not see a summer surf session affected by NW wind?) rippling water texture at almost 10 knots.

Sections aren't connecting; it's peaky and broken up. When the infrequent sets come in, it's knee to shoulder high. If you've been living in a cave the last week, don't show up and expect to trunk it. All the NW wind we've received has stirred up deep ocean cold water and like an unannounced party guest, has shown up at our front door.
Sunset tonight: 7:45 p.m.

For tomorrow, Friday the 5th, don't expect much change from today. It'll most likely be another day of inconsistent, long-period combo NW windswell and weak SW groundswell.
