Surf Report & Forecast for July 11-12

Decent height today but walled up in some places.

Finally, surf at least waist high. But most spots are seeing broken up lines with walled up sections. Waves are soft and crumbly, so despite 3-4 foot sets, it's mostly mushy and short wavelengths.

Winds are light but are from the SW making for less than glassy surface texture. Winds will stay moderate from that direction, reaching 10 knots by early afternoon.

Water temp is 65.

Tide is draining to 2.25 feet at 12:25 p.m. High tide is at 7:00 p.m. at 6.3 feet.

It's a long period swell so shoulder-high sets are not coming in that frequently.

Sunset tonight: 8:01 p.m.

For tomorrow, Tuesday the 12th, the long period SW sticks around in the 3-4 foot range, perhaps occasionally 5-6 on rare pulses.
