Surf Report & Forecast for July 19-20

If you're patient, you'll score a semi-steep chest-high rogue.

It's a repeat of yesterday: weak, soft, crossed-up lines, in the 1-2 foot range, with the occasional 3-4 footer in the mix.

When the tide fills in later this morning, there might be some decent bumps, especially at better beach breaks that attract the SW and NW windswell.

Winds will be moderately onshore later in the day, peaking at about 10 knots.

High tide fills in until 1:00 p.m. at 4.3 feet; low tide is at 6:45 p.m. at 2.1 feet.

Sunset is at 7:57 p.m.

Water temp is a balmy 67, enough of a reason alone to paddle out.

For tomorrow, Wednesday the 20th, expect a slight bump in wave heights as a new long-period south fills in. For now, call it 2-3 feet. Of course if you want to fight the crowds, drive up to Trestles and score some bigger waves.
