Surf Report & Forecast for July 25-26

Mostly flat with rare waist-high blue moons.

You'll have more fun bodysurfing the ankle to knee-high surf at a beachbreak than waiting around for a very inconsistent waist-high wave.

Yup, the Pacific is looking like a lake today. At least the water is warm, though it feels like it may have cooled down a degree or two. Temp is running 67-69.

The lingering NW windswell has finally stopped. The good news is it's glassy and snorkeling/diving/spearfishing visibility is very good at 15 feet. The bad news is the lack of combo swell keeps waves heights very minimal.

High tide fills in at 6:00 p.m. at 5.2 feet. Maybe we'll get real lucky and see a bump in size and power; don't hold your breath though, unless of course, you're free diving.

For tomorrow, Tuesday the 26th, wish I had better news to report, but looks like 1-2 foot waves are here to stay for at least a few more days. Swell might come from more of a westerly flow rather than SW, so we may see some better consistency, making for a more enjoyable longboard session.
