Afternoon tides: Low: 5:00 p.m. at 2.1 feet; evening tide will be very high still because of the recent new moon (11:00 p.m. at 6 feet).
Winds are calm now but will increase to about 10 knots from an onshore direction.
Forecast for Fourth of July surf: Not good at all. We’ll have a similar weak west swell lingering, but added to the mix will be SW wind that will make conditions not only small and inconsistent but choppy.
