Surf Report & Forecast for July 7-8

Another flat day; tide stays drained for early morning sessions.

This week sounds like a broken record with another day today of mostly flat surf.

Winds are mostly calm and conditions are clean but lines have no integrity. Occasionally, there's a 2-foot lake-like lapping wave but nothing of consequence.

Tide is drained right now and won't begin filling in until late morning.

High tide peaks at 3:00 p.m. at 5 feet.

Water temp is very trunkable at 65. Air temp is in the low 70s, so even early morning sessions can go neoprene-free.

Sunset tonight: 8:02 p.m.

For tomorrow, Friday the 8th, we should see the embryonic stages of a new long-period south swell start to fill in and break the flat cycle. But the system won't start filling in until late in the afternoon, leaving most of the day with inconsistent 1-2 foot surf.
