Surf Report & Forecast for June 13-14

If you can believe it, it's smaller than yesterday.

Currently, there's one person out at Swami's: a kayaker.

That should tell you how conditions are. The NW windswell has faded as has the SW groundswell, leaving us in weak limbo.

Yesterday afternoon, when the sun popped out for a few hours, there were some fun longboard waves. Hopefully later this afternoon, with a radical incoming tide, we'll see a little bump in wave heights.

Tide peaks at 3.7 feet at 9 a.m. before draining to 1.8 feet at 1:30 p.m. A full moon Wednesday is responsible for very high high evening tides. Tonight's will be at 8 p.m. at 6.7 feet.

Some good news: water temperature feels like it's gone up. Some warm pockets are checking in at 63 degrees.

All in all, looking like an ankle- to knee-high day for surf.

Sunset tonight: 7:59 p.m.

For tomorrow, June 14, expect little change in surf conditions—perhaps up to 2 feet, if we're lucky. Dawn patrol paddle out coincides with a low, incoming tide.
