Yesterday afternoon’s incoming tide saw a significant bump in wave size as well as consistency. A new SW groundswell with a bit of NW mixed in produced some chest-high sets; if you’re on the shorter side: head-high waves.
Conditions this morning are a continuation of that. As the tide starts filling in, we should see steady waist- to chest-high sets, perhaps up to head-high on occasion.
High tide peaks at 11 a.m. at 3.8 feet; at 3:45 p.m., tide is low at just under 2 feet before cresting back up to 6.4 feet at 10 p.m.

Tomorrow, Friday the 17th, swell is supposed to back off into the ankle- to waist-high max range and remain small for at least a few days. We shall see if the predictions are correct.
