Surf Report & Forecast for June 18-19

SW drops a bit more; still decent, waist high.

SW groundswell has dropped off a bit and there's still some remnant NW windswell, creating small, shifty, slightly mixed-up peaks.

Most sets are running 2-3 feet. Wave quality will most likely be especially affected by tidal influence today. This morning's negative low tide is starting to fill in, and there may be a decent push and bump in wave heights, albeit for a short window.

High tide is at 12:45 p.m. at 4 feet. Low is at 5:30 p.m. at 2.3 feet. Early evening and sunset sessions (sunset tonight is at 8:00 p.m.) might see another decent push.

Sets are inconsistent. Winds are calm right now but will increase in the early afternoon to 10 knots. Weak, crumbly lines right now, but look for it to get better as the tide fills in.

Water temp is about 63.

For Saturday, the 19th, expect a further dropoff in SW energy. We may be left with scraps for the next few days before the next SW fills in. Call it 1-3 feet for tomorrow.
