Surf Report & Forecast for June 2-3

Three-foot, broken up SW-NW combo swell.

Another day of less than ideal form. The SW groundswell and NW windswell combo are once again seeing waves push 3 feet, perhaps occasionally up to head-high at standout spots.

No epic long rides today, once again. The mixed-up lines are keeping wave lengths pretty short. The SW groundswell is long period, but the NW wind is keeping lines close together.

Onshore wind will pick up by late morning, jacking up to 15 knots.

An important note about water temperature: There has been some upwelling as of yesterday. Near-shore water temps were back down to 59-60 degrees! There are some warm pockets, but expect a continuation of cold water temps until wind patterns change.

Tide is filling in until 11:20 a.m. at 3.6 feet. Low tide is 3:40 p.m. at 2.3 feet. With yesterday's new moon, we have a very high evening tide. By 7 p.m. it'll be over 4 feet before finally cresting at over 6 feet at 10 p.m.

Sunset is at 7:54 p.m.

For tomorrow, June 3, expect little change in surf. Waves will be mostly 2-3 feet. The south swell takes a day off, before appearing again on the weekend.

Low tide tomorrow is at 5:20 a.m. at -0.9 feet.
