Tide comes in until noon at 3.6 feet, before going out a little over a foot, fully drained at 4:20 p.m. Late afternoon tide quickly fills in. By sunset it will be almost 5 feet before fully surging up to 6 feet at 10:30 p.m.

Water temperature for the third day in a row is still abnormally cold from upwelling. Call it 60 degrees.
As tide fills in, sets may increase in size to overhead but very sporadically with the long-period south. Don't get lulled to sleep!
For tomorrow, June 4, expect another day of long-period southern energy. At Encinitas breaks, we'll likely see waist- to chest-high waves. If you want bigger, go to a better area that picks up the south.
