Surf Report & Forecast for June 4-5

Small and cold this morning.

Yesterday’s crossed-up windswell has faded out but what’s sticking around is cold, cold water temps. An upwelling from a few days ago has left behind sub-60 water temps, with some estimates as low as 56!

Early morning sessions are seeing piddly waves in the 1- to 2-feet zone.

When the tide begins filling in later this morning, perhaps we’ll see a bump in wave energy but it’s not likely going to be much bigger than waist high.

Low tide was at 6:00 a.m.; fills in until 12:45 p.m. at 3.6 feet. Afternoon low tide drops only one foot at 5 p.m.

Sunset: 7:55 p.m. Moonset: 10:35 p.m.

For tomorrow, Sunday the 5th, expect a slight bump in wave heights to the 2- to 3-feet range, from a westerly direction. Might be a bit of windswell and ground combo.
