Models were predicting 4-6 feet today, but as of mid-morning, that prediction has yet to come true. Tide is still low, however, so by the time it peaks at 1:30 p.m. at 3.7 feet, there might be a bump in wave heights.

Surf forecast for tomorrow, Monday: Any day now, we’re due for a very long period south swell, up to 20 seconds. It’s too early to tell if the angle will hit Encintias beaches or not. In all likelihood, it’ll be another 2- to 3-feet day with very cold water. Don’t hang up your 4 mil. suit just yet for summer.
