Surf Report & Forecast for June 6-7

Early morning's negative tide (which hit low at 7:30 a.m. at -0.5 feet) has yet to start filling in so it's looking weak and sectiony and already there's an onshore ripple effect. 

Like yesterday afternoon, there are no multi-wave sets to speak of. 

Most waves are in the waist-high range. Water temperature has warmed back up a bit to about 60-61 degrees. 

Most breaks are seeing short rides, but as the tide fills in later this morning, conditions might get significantly better. Winds are not supposed to be very strong today—10 knots at most. 

High tide fills in at 2:30 p.m. at 4 feet; low tide at 7:15 p.m. at 2.5 feet. 

Sunset tonight: 7:56 p.m.; moonset: 11:46 p.m. 

For tomorrow, June 7, a very long-period south swell is supposed to hit, with the possibility of overhead sets.
