Encinitas Surf Report & Forecast: Nov. 2-3

Soft, 1-3 foot waves with morning offshore winds.

Another day of gorgeous sunshine with slight Santa Ana conditions graces our shoreline. Mellow knee to waist high mushy peelers are the norm.

Along with power, consistency is also lacking but when sets come they are clean and fun.

Tide goes out until 10:00 a.m. (3 feet), and then comes back in at 3:30 p.m (4.5 feet). Today is a first quarter moon so tides won't be radical for the next few days.

Water temp is still 60. Sunset is at 5:56 p.m.

Winds are calm right now and should remain so for the rest of the day, if anything, blowing slightly offshore.

For tomorrow, Thursday, November 3, expect similar conditions and wave heights remaining in the knee to waist high zone.
